Yosua Siagian

Program Management Assistant

Yosua Siagian is a Program Management Assistant with Democracy International. Before joining DI, he worked as both a Project Management and Technical Intern for Management Systems International in Arlington, Virginia. As a native Indonesian, his background has always pushed him to study and understand the complexities of development projects in his home region.

This past summer, Mr. Siagian had the opportunity to study at Universitas Negeri Malang in Indonesia as a 2022 Critical Language Scholar. During this program, he learned about the various barriers to equitable development within the country and how these challenges can be addressed.

Mr. Siagian is also a recent graduate from The George Washington University, where he received his BA in International Affairs and History with a focus on development studies and Southeast Asia. He is also proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and studied Arabic.
