Victor Gedeck is a Strategy and Design Assistant at Democracy International. Before joining DI, he gained valuable experience at AidData, where he worked on projects analyzing the influence of Chinese soft power through the Belt and Road Initiative. He also contributed to the College of William & Mary’s Geospatial Observation and Evaluations Lab, examining the impact of resource deterioration.

Mr. Gedeck holds a degree in Government and Data Science from the College of William & Mary. His international upbringing in the UK, Switzerland, and Singapore shaped his global perspective and linguistic fluency in German and French.
