Molly Knapp
Molly Knapp is a Program Management Officer providing operational and programmatic support for Democracy International (DI). She has also supported DI’s work in Kosovo, Liberia, Colombia, El Salvador, Jamaica, South Sudan, Trinidad & Tobago, and Ukraine. She previously worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP as a litigation paralegal where she supported matters of antitrust, civil litigation, economic sanctions, and white-collar investigations. She also worked extensively on pro bono asylum, human trafficking, and housing rights cases. Molly interned for U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and the Senate Rules Committee, where she conducted research on election infrastructure, foreign affairs, homeland security, and antitrust. She is particularly interested in transitional justice, rule of law, youth development, and crime & violence prevention.
Ms. Knapp holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame where she studied transitions to democracy in Latin America. She speaks fluent Spanish.
