Marin Murdock

Strategy and Design Assistant

Marin Murdok is a Strategy and Design Assistant at Democracy International. With a robust background in international human rights and development, her experience spans multiple continents. Most recently, Ms. Murdok served as a Legal Fellow with the Global Initiative for Justice, Truth, and Reconciliation, where she managed strategic programming efforts in West Africa. Her work focused on creating innovative solutions to human rights challenges, including establishing new legal standards for maritime refugee protection and launching sustainable community development projects in Fiji.

In addition to her work, Ms. Murdok contributed to impactful initiatives in various contexts, such as advocating for Afghan refugees in Poland and developing databases to assist in identifying missing persons in Kenya. Ms. Murdok holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a BSc in International Development and Sustainability from the University of Utah.
