Madeline Anderson
Madeline Anderson is a Program Assistant at Democracy International (DI). Before joining DI, she worked as an Administrative Coordinator and Commissioner for the Reimagining America Project, supporting social justice and Truth and Reconciliation initiatives. Her role focused on advancing community resiliency and facilitating spaces for relationship building.
Ms. Anderson’s professional interests include languages, reconciliation, mediation, community-based conflict transformation, and environmental peacebuilding. She holds a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding and a Certificate of Mediation from Georgetown University. She also earned two bachelor’s degrees from George Mason University, where she double majored in French and Global Affairs, with a concentration in Environment. Her honors thesis examined the impact of transboundary conservation and peacebuilding initiatives in Africa. Ms. Anderson is fluent in French.
