Kathleen Fung
Kathleen Fung is a Program Manager at Democracy International, supporting projects in Jamaica and Guinea. Kathleen has over eight years of experience in program management, including democracy and governance projects in sub-Saharan Africa on youth political inclusion and political party strengthening. Prior to joining DI, she supported electoral and political process-strengthening and research programs with Ethiopian political parties and civil society with the National Democratic Institute. Previously, Kathleen worked on peacebuilding and social cohesion initiatives in Europe, sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia, including supporting participatory research with marginalized youth and a community of practice for constitution-building practitioners.
Ms. Fung earned her MA in International Development with a focus on Public Policy and Management from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and a BA in Political Science from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She speaks basic French.
