JoAnne Rogers
JoAnne Rogers is a Program Manager for Democracy International, where she supports DI’s global Justice, Rights, and Security – Rapid Response Assistance (JRS-RRA) activity and the Promoting Peace and Justice program in Bangladesh. Prior to joining DI, Ms. Rogers served as Program Director for Central and Eastern Europe at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) where she managed NDI’s programming in Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as several regional initiatives to enhance the engagement of religious and ethnic minority and marginalized groups in political processes. Before that, Ms. Rogers worked at the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) where she assisted with NED’s launch of a multimillion-dollar strategic initiative to address global threats to democracy. Ms. Rogers holds a BA in Political Science and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University.
