Gina Addo
Gina Addo is a Project Manager at Democracy International (DI). Prior to joining DI, Ms. Addo worked at Chemonics International as a senior program manager, overseeing projects in the Middle East and North Africa. With more than five years of program management experience, Ms. Addo specializes in stabilization, peacebuilding, and preventing and countering violent extremism. Previously, she served as a program assistant intern for the Field Programs division in West Africa at USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives. She also represented the Alliance for Peacebuilding’s working group for Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism.
Ms. Addo holds an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University’s School of International Service. She also earned a BA in Political Science from Bridgewater State University with a concentration in International Affairs and a double minor in Anthropology and Middle East Studies.
