Emily Hussey is a Program Officer II at Democracy International (DI). Prior to joining DI, Ms. Hussey worked as a Program Officer for the International Republican Institute Youth and Inclusion team, connecting, equipping, and empowering global youth leaders in building more resilient and inclusive democracies. She also previously worked on promoting citizen-centered governance in Southeast Asia.

Ms. Hussey earned a BA in International Relations and Chinese Language from American University.
