Annie Kemmerer is a Program Associate at Democracy International. Before starting at DI, she worked for a number of non-profits and international organizations collecting operations, programs, and partnerships experience. Ms. Kemmerer also served as an Agribusiness and Economic Development Volunteer in Peace Corps Uganda from 2018-2020. Most recently, she produced the Global Affairs podcast Altamar.

Ms. Kemmerer holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Interdisciplinary Philosophy from James Madison University. She holds a M.A. in International Development and International Economics from Johns Hopkins University SAIS. She speaks intermediate French and Lugbarati.
