Annie Kemmerer is a Program Associate at Democracy International. Before starting at DI, she worked for a number of non-profits and international organizations collecting operations, programs, and partnerships experience. Ms. Kemmerer also served as an Agribusiness and Economic Development Volunteer in Peace Corps Uganda from 2018 to 2020. She also produced the Global Affairs podcast Altamar.

Ms. Kemmerer holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Interdisciplinary Philosophy from James Madison University. She holds a M.A. in International Development and International Economics from Johns Hopkins University SAIS. She speaks intermediate French and Lugbarati.
