Anika Chatterjee
Anika Chatterjee is a Program Assistant at Democracy International (DI). Ms. Chatterjee joins DI’s global and rapid response programs team after interning at the international NGO, Apne Aap, supporting victims of sex trafficking. As an interdisciplinary thinker, Ms. Chatterjee is passionate about the rule of law, human rights, and international aid.
Ms. Chatterjee holds a BA in Economics and Global Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, with concentrations in development and the business of social impact. Her academic background also includes a semester at Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago, Chile where she conducted research on the socioeconomic impacts of the lithium mining industry on indigenous communities. Ms. Chatterjee is proficient in Spanish.
