Alex Hart is a Technical Specialist in Communications and Marketing at Democracy International and is dedicated to connecting, engaging, and maximizing relationships between DI’s internal and external audiences. Ms. Hart is joining the team straight from her Graduate Student Internship where she worked directly with the communications team. Ms. Hart is passionate about civic education, promoting social justice, and empowering others to use their voice. Before interning with Democracy International, she spent a majority of her time volunteering with When We All Vote during the 2020 elections. She also has previous experience in restaurant management, video production, strategic communications, social media messaging, and health campaign organizing.

Ms. Hart recently earned her M.A. in Communication, along with a Graduate Certificate in Communication Teaching, from the College of Informatics at Northern Kentucky University. She holds a B.A. in Electronic Media & Broadcasting, with a minor in Communication Studies, from Northern Kentucky University as well.
