Project Description

Democracy International conducted a conflict vulnerability assessment for USAID/Senegal. DI’s team analyzed the drivers and mitigating factors of the ongoing conflict in Senegal and how conflict dynamics may hinder USAID programs. Based on that analysis, the team recommended a range of options to mitigate conflict. Additionally, DI evaluated the effectiveness of the methodology used in the Conflict Assessment Framework over the past three years in the country. Findings informed USAID’s Senegal programs and all future conflict-related programming at the Agency.
