Project Description

For parliamentary elections in Georgia in 2003, Democracy International advised the International Society for Free Elections and Democracy on the design and implementation of a parallel vote tabulation (PVT) and served as the principal analyst of PVT results. The PVT provided a quantifiable basis for challenging the official vote count and for the Rose Revolution, which culminated in the installation of a new, democratically elected government.
