Project Description
In 2014 Democracy International conducted a mid-term performance evaluation of USAID/Albania’s Enabling Equitable Health Reform program designed to improve the delivery of healthcare to underprivileged communities. DI’s team found that the program had limited impact in removing key obstacles in the health reform process, and the team also expressed concern that the management and technical changes at pilot hospitals might not be sustainable.
