Michael Cooper is a Communications Associate with Democracy International. Prior to this, Mr. Cooper held several positions as Project Manager, Business Advisor, and Communications Specialist with organizations such as Adam Smith International, Mercy Corps and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

He received a Master of Science in International Communication with emphasis on Global Development from St. John’s University in Queens, New York and a Bachelor of Arts from York University in Toronto, Ontario.
