Administration and Operations Assistant

Gracie enjoys operating in both the public and private sectors, though she always finds herself returning to politically minded positions. She has worked in the service and tech industries, journalism, and various roles for the US government, such as DOS, USAID, and CDC. Having been raised in the Foreign Service, her interests typically lie with international issues while keeping perspective on what’s going on at home. She enjoys service work, hoping to leave people and places with sustainable means for development. She takes particular interest in women’s rights, Islam (and religion as a whole), and at-risk youth. Gracie is Turkish-American with a history of living in Italy, Honduras, Russia, India (twice), England, and China. She received her B.A. in Political Science and Arabic from The George Washington University. Gracie enjoys playing most sports and competed internationally in basketball and volleyball in high school. She speak Arabic, Turkish, Spanish, and Hindi at varying fluencies.
