Will Brown is Program Assistant with Democracy International and supports programs in Liberia and Ghana. Mr. Brown interned for the United Nations Department of Peace Operations Protection of Civilians Team and Concordis International, a small NGO that conducts peacebuilding programs in Sudan, South Sudan, and the Central African Republic. Mr. Browm graduated from the American University School of International Service, where he got a Bachelor’s degree in international studies. He is interested in conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and atrocity prevention, with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa (particularly East Africa). While in school he studied abroad in Nairobi, Kenya, where he conducted research on the Kenyan military’s experience in Somalia and supported data collection efforts in Nairobi’s informal settlements.
