Sarah Way
Program Assistant
Sarah Way is a Program Assistant at Democracy International. She previously interned at a consulting firm in Denver, supporting a USAID disability inclusion project in Laos, where she also contributed to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4.1 working group on universal education. She also worked as a teaching assistant at a school for students with developmental disabilities in Meknès, Morocco.
Sarah holds a B.A. in International Affairs, with minors in Political Science and French, from the University of Colorado Boulder. She specializes in Africa and the Middle East and wrote an undergraduate honors thesis on the environmental, social, and health impacts of cobalt mining in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
