Katie Croake

Chief of Party

Katie Croake is Chief of Party for DI in Bangladesh. Ms. Croake has more than 13 years of international experience with expertise in democracy and governance, education and training, elections, monitoring and evaluation, and women’s political participation. Before joining DI, Ms. Croake worked for the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in a variety of roles. Most recently, she worked as Country Director in Sierra Leone, managing an elections program and supporting women and youth leadership and involvement in political parties. She has also worked as Women’s Political Participation Program Manager in Egypt, developing and leading a comprehensive candidate training program for women parliamentary candidates. Ms. Croake also created and directed NDI’s Middle East and North Africa Young Women Leaders Academy. She has observed elections in Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait, and Sierra Leone. Ms. Croake holds an M.A. in International Public Affairs from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
