Inga Harutyunyan
Inga Harutyunyan is the Social Protection Specialist for Democracy International’s USAID-supported Protection, Inclusion, and Empowerment Activity in Armenia. With 16 years of experience, she specializes in developing programs focused on social protection, education, human rights, and CSO development. Before joining DI, she was the CEO of AmCham Armenia, recognized for her expertise in advocacy and building partnerships between state and non-state agencies.
Ms. Harutyunyan’s experience spans social protection, MHPSS, economic development, and humanitarian response, having worked with Save the Children Armenia and World Vision International. As a human rights advocate and psychologist, she served on the Council of Europe’s Committee for the Prevention of Torture, representing Armenia.
She holds a PhD in Psychology and an MA in Education, with 18 years of teaching experience at various universities in Armenia. Alongside her academic career, she is deeply involved in international aid programming.
