Celena Wasserstrom is a Program Management Officer for Democracy International’s programs in East Africa and in Trinidad and Tobago, where she provides direct support to program initiatives. Before DI, Celena worked on the program management team at Management Systems International (MSI), supporting projects in Ghana and Mali. Celena has experience in project management, field research, data collection, community outreach, and capacity building. In addition to her work with MSI, Ms. Wasserstrom was a Capacity Building Intern with the Mother Teresa Foundation in Kosovo and India, in partnership with UNESCO. Ms. Wasserstrom holds a B.A. in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University and is fluent in modern Greek and proficient in French.
