Brandon Hoffman

Deputy Chief of Party

Brandon Hoffman is the Deputy Chief of Party for Democracy International in South Sudan. He has over 15 years of professional experience in community development, democracy promotion, conflict, stabilization, and post-conflict initiatives. Previous to DI, he was a Deputy Country Representative with USAID/Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) in Afghanistan and worked with Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI) in Turkey, supporting operations in Syria, as well as in Tunisia and Afghanistan. He has worked in various training and communications roles and was a founding member of the U.S. Campaign for Burma, a human rights, trade divestment, democracy, and public diplomacy campaign.

Mr. Hoffman holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of the District of Columbia.
