Deputy Chief of Party

Austin R. Power is the Deputy Chief of Party for DI in Bangladesh. Mr. Power has more than eight years of experience specializing in international program management. Before joining DI, Mr. Power worked as the Business Process Manager for AECOM International Development where he was responsible for overseeing business practice and program management procedures. He also served as the Engagement Manager for the USAID/Egypt Effective Planning and Services project and oversaw the technical and financial performance of the democracy and governance project. Prior to AECOM, Mr. Power began his career in international development at Chemonics where he served in program management roles for the USAID/Iraq Governance Strengthening Project and the USAID/Afghanistan Regional Agriculture Development Program. Mr. Power holds a M.A. in International Human Rights Law from the American University in Cairo, and a B.A. in Political Science from the Evergreen State College.
