Ariel Gruver
Technical Specialist I
Ariel Gruver is a Technical Specialist I at Democracy International (DI), where she supports the Social and Behavioral Science & Learning team. Before joining DI, Ms. Gruver worked with the Africa Gender Innovation Lab at The World Bank, contributing to evaluations aimed at closing gender gaps in earnings, productivity, and agency across Sub-Saharan Africa. Her research covered a broad range of topics, including agriculture, private sector development, property rights, social norms, and youth employment.
Ms. Gruver holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Portland State University and a master’s degree in Public Policy and Development from the Paris School of Economics.
