Alice Guilford is a Senior Program Officer at Democracy International. Ms. Guilford currently manages DI’s programs in Bangladesh and South Sudan and has previously managed DI’s programs in Egypt and Tunisia. Prior to joining DI, she worked on a domestic political campaign. Ms. Guilford also has experience working with community development organizations Lebanon, Senegal, South Africa, and Tunisia on advocacy, human rights, and education programs.
Ms. Guilford holds an M.A. in International Development and International Economics from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University where she concentrated in human development and quantitative methods and a B.A. in International Studies from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. She is proficient in French and Arabic.
