Project Description

As the sole provider of Conflict Assessments under the USAID Programming Effectively Against Conflict and Extremism IQC, Democracy International is working with USAID/Uganda and USAID’s Center for Conflict and Violence Prevention to conduct a Conflict Assessment in Uganda using USAID’s Conflict Assessment Framework 2.0 methodology. The assessment aims to update USAID/Uganda’s understanding of current, emerging, and potential conflict dynamics and vulnerabilities; identify effects and possible solutions to prevent, manage, and mitigate conflicts in current and future USAID programming; and inform USAID/Uganda’s reboot of the Country Development Cooperation Strategy.
