Project Description

Democracy International assessed USAID conflict-related programming in Ethiopia and USAID’s Conflict Assessment Framework in the context of the country. DI’s team analyzed the drivers and mitigating factors of conflict in Ethiopia and recommend ways to prevent, manage, or mitigate violence through USAID assistance. Additionally, DI evaluated the effectiveness of the methodology used in the Conflict Assessment Framework over the past three years. Findings will inform USAID’s Ethiopia programs and all future conflict-related programming across the Agency.
